I am a permanent researcher at the International Center for Numerical methods in Engineering (CIMNE) and the Departament de Resistència de Materials i Estructures a l'Enginyeria (RMEE), at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). I moved to Barcelona after a two years stay at the Applied Mathematics and Applications Department at the Sandia National Labs in Albuquerque (New Mexico), and a six-month stay at the Politecnico di Milano in Italy. I have recently been awarded with a STARTING GRANT from the European Research Council for advancing in the field of computational methods for fusion reactor processes.
